Alihn Thomas Anderson, 19, of Columbia Falls, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 3, 2025 as the result of a car accident along with his girlfriend Brynn Courville. He was born May 19, 2005 in Kalispell.
Alihn was a student athlete and graduate from Columbia Falls High School class of 2024. He played varsity football, basketball, and baseball for the Wildcats. Alihn had a charming personality and was always open for an adventure. He loved Montana and the great outdoors, which is where he could be found fly fishing and hunting. This past season he got his first bull elk. Alihn worked professionally building fences, siding with his stepfather, and most recently logging with his girlfriend’s father. He loved being in the woods. Alihn will always be remembered during Christmas time because of his innate gift giving ability and his warm welcoming personality. He was selfless and fiercely protective of those around him.
Alihn is survived by mother, April Barth; stepfather, Tanner Barth; siblings: Rachell Ruther and Alyssa Barth; grandparents: Wayne Anderson (Anita), Tracy Anderson, and Doug Barth (Susie); aunts: Amber Kennedy and Amanda Gunderson; uncles: Austinn Anderson, Aspenn Kennedy, and Austin Barth; and cousins: Airk Counsell, Elora Counsell, and Mckenzie Gunderson; as well as numerous second cousins.
A celebration of Alihn Thomas Anderson’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 18th, 2025, at Canvas Church 255 Summit Ridge Dr. Kalispell, MT.
