Julia Preuschoff

Julia Estella (Mearns) Preuschoff, 94, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024, at Trios Hospital in Kennewick, Wash., at the age of 94. Julia was born in Wilbur, Wash., on July 23, 1930, to Decie and Stella Mearns.  

She attended Washington State University in Pullman, Wash., and was a schoolteacher. Julia met her husband, Ed, at WSU and they married Sept. 19, 1953, and ultimately settled in Othello, Wash.  

Ed preceded her in death in 2011. 

Julia is survived by her daughter, Valerie Wegener (Det), of West Richland, Wash., her daughter, Holly Clark (Dwight), of Issaquah, Wash., and her son, Edmund Preuschoff (Charlotte), of Airway Heights, Wash. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Julia and Ed have been laid to rest together in the Wilbur Cemetery in Wilbur, Wash.  

In her quiet and gentle manner, Julia touched many throughout her life and will be dearly missed.
