COEUR d’ALENE — With five starters out, Coeur d’Alene had to turn to its depth a little bit on Wednesday, scoring a 57-27 dual win over the Sandpoint Bulldogs at Viking Court.

“We went out and took care of business,” Coeur d’Alene coach Jeff Moffat said. “We had a few No. 1s out, but we’re happy with the guys that are stepping in. We're confident in them and it was overall an aggressive effort putting points on the board and getting the job done.”

Colton Tucker (157 pounds), Brock Armstrong (165), Dominic Prangley (138), Logan Bradley (144) and Jack Mayer (150) had pins for Coeur d’Alene, which competes in the Rocky Mountain Classic on Friday and Saturday at Sentinel High in Missoula.

“Jack’s been giving great effort when he steps in to the lineup,” Moffat said. “He’s been wrestling four years and it’s good to see him have that success with the work he’s put into it. Logan has had a good couple of weeks and another big win tonight.”

Sandpoint hosts Lakeland in the Battle for the Paddle spirit dual on Friday.
