Matthew Heyden, 38, of Spirit Lake was arrested in the 700 block of Spirit Lake Cutoff in Spirit Lake at 7:36 a.m. on charges of  grand theft, burglary, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia .

Report of an animal problem in the 35900 block of Highway 41 in Oldtown at 7:45 a.m.

Report of a non-injury accident on USFS Road 2550 in the greater Priest River area at 8:28 a.m. 

Report of suspicious activity in the 300 block of Pinehaven Road in the Spirit Lake area at 8:29 a.m.

Deputies assisted a citizen on N. Kootenai Road at 8:48 a.m.

Report of suicide threats in the greater Ponderay area at 10:09 p.m.

Jan. 7

Jason Robinson, 51, of Priest River was arrested on High Street at 11:24 a.m. on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of Bonner County.
