A caller from Pinewood Lane, Libby reported a phone scam alleging lottery winnings.

An order of protection violation occurred in the 1300 block of Snowshoe Road, Libby.

A county detective investigated a report of forged checks being cashed in the 500 block of Mineral Avenue, Libby.

Three officers responded to the 300 block of Luscher Drive, Libby for a disturbance in an apartment.

Jan. 8

A deputy gave a man a ride from the 900 block of Farm to Market Road to the hospital for a mental health checkup.

An officer investigated a report of child abuse on Lewis Loop, Libby.

A traffic stop at the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and East Poplar Street in Libby resulted in a man being arrest on an outstanding warrant.

A deputy advised of the recovery of a stolen gun in Grant County, Washington.

A deputy responded to Jackson Lane in Troy for a juvenile problem.

Jan. 9

A deputy responded to a criminal mischief report in the 300 block of Third Avenue East, Eureka.

Two deputies investigated a report of a vehicle striking two elk at mile marker 55 on U.S. 2, Libby.

Two officers investigated a controlled substance problem in the 38800 block of U.S. 2, Libby.

Three officers responded to the 38800 block of U.S. 2, Libby following a report of  woman with suicidal ideation.

Four officers responded to the 2300 block of Farm to Market Road, Libby, for a verbal disturbance.

A deputy investigated a report of a man being rude in the 4100 block of Highway 37, Libby.

Someone called due to a concern of cats being poisoned on Bellevue Drive, Libby.

Jan. 10

Multiple first responders were at the scene of a single vehicle rollover crash in the 1700 block of Deep Creek Road, Fortine. Minor injuries were reported.

A deputy made a traffic stop after a vehicle failed to stop for a stopped school bus on U.S. 2, Libby.

Multiple first responders were at the scene of a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 37 and Douglas Hill Road, Eureka.

Jan. 11

Two officers investigated an incident where a vehicle struck a fence in the 100 block of West Avenue North, Eureka, and left the scene.

A deputy investigated a burglary call in the 400 block of Luscher Drive, Libby. Nothing was stolen and there was no forced entry.

Three deputies responded to the intersection of the Fisher River Road and McKillop Road following a report of a suspicious item in the roadway.

Jan. 12

Several first responders were on the scene of a rollover crash at mlle marker 74 on U.S. 2. Injuries were reported.

A deputy responded to the 6700 block of U.S. 93 North, Eureka, for an injured elk. It turned out to be a deer.

A deputy handled a call about a civil dispute over tools in the 400 block of Glacier Vista Lane, Trego.

Jan. 13

A deputy was at the 400 block of Riverdale Lane, Libby for a report of a community decay prohibition.
