This week's Athlete of the Week is Wil Leisy of Sandpoint boys basketball.
A senior guard, Wil scored 12 points, including three 3-pointers and the game-winning basket, and had four rebounds in the Bulldogs' recent 51-49 win over 5A IEL rival Lakeland at Baddle for the Paddle. As if that wasn't impressive enough, nine of his 12 points were tallied during crucial moments where Sandpoint needed someone to step up in the fourth quarter.
