BONNERS FERRY — Sophomore Nollie Hiatt scored a game-high 20 points and had four blocks off the bench as the host Lady Badgers used a fast start to defeat the Lady Lumberjacks in a non-league contest Wednesday.

Junior Alexys Mierke had 15 points and a game-high eight steals while fellow junior Makenna Baisen also netted 15, pulled down eight rebounds and dished out five assists for Bonners Ferry, which started the game on an 11-0 run and led 47-26 at intermission.

Senior Sydney Hinthorn had nine points, nine rebounds and five assists, junior Hallie Thomson six points and seven rebounds in the win.

Bonners Ferry (10-7, 0-1) returns to action Jan. 30 for another non-league game against Lakeside of Worley.
