BROWNING — Braeden Gunlock poured in 27 points, including 12 free throws in 16 attempts, and Bigfork powered past Browning 59-28 in Northwest A girls basketball action Friday.

Paeten Gunlock and Keni Wade added 13 points each for the Valkyries (7-2 overall, 3-0 in Northwest A games). Wade hit two 3-pointers and scored 10 points in the first half while Bigfork built a 32-13 lead.  

Amani Yellow Owl led Browning (2-6, 0-2) with nine points.

COLUMBIA FALLS — Tayrn Borgen hit three 3-pointers and scored 20 points Friday, helping Columbia Falls to the Northwest A win. 

Addy Bowler hit four 3-pointers and added 12 points for the Wiildkats (4-6 overalla, 2-2 in the Northwest A). Two of her threes happened during an 18-9 third-quarter surge that put Columbia Falls 44-24. 

Allie Shors led the Lady Bulldogs (2-7, 0-3 in league) with nine points.
