Jacks, Huskies host tournaments

MOSES LAKE – Saturday was a busy day for wrestling in the Columbia Basin, with both the Quincy boys and Othello girls wrestling programs hosting tournaments. Check out Tuesday’s edition of the Columbia Basin Herald for full coverage of both the Lady Huskie Invite and the Mat Animal Invitational.

    Wrestlers from Cashmere and Blaine wrestle at Saturday’s Lady Huskie Invite. The two-day tournament brought in teams from across the state.
 
 
    The Quincy Jackrabbits hosted the Mat Animal Invitational on Saturday, bringing in teams from across the region and local teams from Ephrata, Othello, Royal and Wahluke.

DAVIS, Calif. – The Cougars men's golf team finished 13th at the 2025 El Macero Classic Sunday. The Cougars shot a final round of 18-over, 306, and, played at the par 72, 7,127-yard El Macero Country Club, according to a statement from Washington State Athletics.
