Feed Love: North Valley Food Bank's annual winter food drive begins

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, North Valley Food Bank will be having its fifth annual winter food drive and fundraiser, FEED LOVE, from Feb. 2 through Feb. 16.
During this time, the food bank will collect non-perishable, nourishing foods such as soups, stews, pasta, nut butter, cornbread mix, baking supplies and other staples that help families and seniors thrive in cold weather.
Food donations can be dropped off at the following locations during normal business hours: Safeway, Super 1 Foods, Third Street Market, The Farmer’s Stand, Marcus Community Market.
There is a donation drop box at the food bank that is always available.
Select Whitefish food and drink establishments are supporting the FEED LOVE campaign by offering exclusive FEED LOVE specials during the food drive.
For every FEED LOVE special purchased at these Whitefish locations, $1 will be donated to North Valley Food Bank: Jersey Boys, Italian Sub; Latitude 48, Wagyu Burger; Bulldog Saloon, Cheeseburger; Fleur Bakery, Sourdough Loaves; Sweet Peaks, Chocolate Love Pints; Craggy Range, Black and Bleu Bites; Ciao Mambo, Fettuccine Alla Lulubella; MacKenzie River, Willow Creek Sandwich; Folklore Coffee, Salted Brown Sugar Maple Latte; Last Chair Restaurant and Bar, Steelhead Trout Entree; Mama Blanca’s, Chocolate Covered Strawberry Martini; Logan Health Whitefish, Daily Cafe Market Special
Other FEED LOVE specials include Buffalo Cafe's duck the line for a donation; Herb and Omni, 50 cents of every menu item including drinks.
Community members are invited to FEED LOVE with monetary donations in any amount; $25 provides 12 meals and $100 sponsors 48 meals. Donations can be made on the food bank’s website at northvalleyfoodbank.org/donate, in person at the food bank Monday - Thursday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., by mail at 251 Flathead Ave, or in the outdoor monetary donation box.
