Libby's Mizfitz wrestling club finishes 11th at Helltown

Libby's Mizfitz Wrestling club competes year round in different states and different styles of wrestling, including the pre-season in Idaho and Washington. 

Mizfitz Wrestling recently competed In the Helltown Throwdown tournament in Helena. There were 72 teams with more than 900 wrestlers and the Mizfitz placed 11th as a team. 

Nine team members performed well enough to secure a place on the podium and a small team trophy. Mizfitz is a private club that is dedicated to developing our athletes, not only in wrestling skills but also important life skills like discipline, perseverance, mental toughness and sportsmanship. 

"We believe that wrestling can positively impact a child's overall character and build a strong foundation for success both on and off the mat," Mizfitz coach Brittanie Bassett said. "Thanks to the support and efforts of coaches as well as parents and athletes, for putting in the extra time and travel to make accomplishments like these possible. It's their dedication that helps these kids excel at the sport they love. We are looking forward to what our Montana season will bring to these determined athletes."

Three wrestlers, including Hudson Mohr, Ryan Masters and Alyson Young, placed first. Dawsen Stow, RaeLynn Masters and Zuri Bassett each finished second. James Masters placed third while Maddux Stow was fourth and Cashton Morrison was sixth.
