Canfield Mountain Area closed until July 15

A map provided by the U.S. Forest Service outlines the area of the Canfield Mountain closure.
The Canfield Mountain area has been declared closed due to wildfire activity in Nettleton Gulch beginning today until July 15, according to the U.S. Forest Service.
The closure is for "public and wildfire safety" and includes all FS lands west of Fernan Road (FSR 268), all FS lands west of FSR 1525 and south of Yellow Banks Creek, and all FS lands south of Hayden Lake.
This closure applies to all forms of travel, including hiking, biking, and motorized vehicles.
Violating the closure order could result in fines up to $5,000 and/or six months in jail.
