McEuen Park will once again be alive with the sound of music.

Koep Concerts will launch Music at McEuen with classic rock band Bruiser at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. This will be the first in the McEuen series, which will feature different bands each Wednesday throughout the summer. Gates open at 4 p.m.

"We're going to have music all summer again," "Good to Be Alive" podcast host Tim Long said in Tuesday's episode during an interview with Koep Concerts owner, organizer and The RUB drummer Michael Koep.

"We're excited about it, for sure, and the community no doubt is," Long said.

Koep is honoring the legacy of the late "Music Man" Chris Guggemos by continuing to bring free, family-friendly summer concerts to North Idaho. City Park Shows in Coeur d'Alene City Park take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays and the Hayden Summer Concert Series fills McIntire Family Park with music from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays.

"We're getting ready for the sprint of a lifetime from July 4 all the way to Sept. 3, and there'll be no breaks," Koep said.
