Glacier Twins split pair at Coeur d’Alene Tourney

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Nolan Amerman and Reed Boyer drove in a run apiece as the Glacier Twins downed Change Up 5-4 Friday.
In their second game of the day, Glacier (4-17-1) fell to Multi-Sport 360 4-3.
Boyer capped off a four-run third inning for the Twins in game one with a single to left that scored Trenton Derosa.
A bases-loaded walk in the fifth made it 5-0 Glacier, before Change Up started their comeback bid.
Change Up closed the gap to 5-4 in the sixth, but Keaton Simpach shut them down from there for the win.
Derek Juntunen started and threw 5 1-3 innings for the Twins, allowing three runs on four hits. He struck out five.
In game two against Multi-Sport 360, the Twins fell behind 4-0 after three innings.
Amerman sparked the offense with an RBI triple in the fifth that made it 4-1.
Two runs came in on an error in the sixth, but the threat ended after a pair of fly outs.
Derosa went the distance on the mound, allowing four runs on six hits. He fanned eight batters.
