Seattle Mariners to host University of Idaho Day on Aug. 3
The Seattle Mariners and the University of Idaho are partnering to host University of Idaho Day at T-Mobile Park on Saturday, Aug. 3, when the Mariners take on the Texas Rangers. First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m.
As part of the celebration, Idaho head football coach Thomas Ford will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
“I couldn’t be more excited for U of I Day with the Mariners,” Ford said. “We have so many Vandals in western Washington, and it’s so important to bring them together to celebrate the pride we have in our university”
Fans who purchase tickets through the special U of I offer will receive an exclusive University of Idaho-themed Mariners jersey, and $5 from every ticket sold will benefit the University of Idaho Alumni Legacy Scholarship.
Tickets must be purchased through the special promotion by Friday, Aug, 1 at 5 p.m. to receive the jersey and support the scholarship.
