Taylor, a rising senior pitcher from Lakeland High, struck out seven in a no-hitter against the Helena Reps on June 21 in Bozeman, Mont., then struck out 12 in a one-hitter vs. Prairie on July 2 at Brett James Memorial Field. In 30.1 innings pitched, Taylor has allowed six hits and five runs.  “Jace has been lights out on the mound this entire summer,” Northern Lakes coach Bryce Johnson said. “He’s extremely talented, he’s got great velocity and a great breaking ball. We’ve worked really hard this summer on the mental side of pitching.”
