COEUR d’ALENE — The 2023 Vanquish VQ16 parked in front of the Hagadone Marine Group sales and service office is special.
The sale of the sleek red vessel will be an exciting moment for the HMG team — but not because they’ll make a profit. Every dollar will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Kootenai County.
The two clubhouses in Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene host about 500 kids daily for their summer programs.
“It’s all about the cause for us,” said Hagadone Marine Group General Manager Ryan Holmes. “We’re just happy to participate.”
The charitable sale of the Vanquish VQ16 is a continuation of the Hagadone legacy with the Boys and Girls Club.
The Coeur d’Alene clubhouse, which opened in 2016, is named for Lola and Duane Hagadone. The couple donated $2 million to supplement community donations and were instrumental in the project's coming to fruition.
The Vanquish VQ16 has a jet ski setup, can reach speeds of up to 45 knots, and fits up to five passengers. It measures about 16 feet in length and 5.44 feet across its beam.
Holmes added that it turns on a dime and is “fun to drive.”
“It’s perfect for quick getaways, cruising, or zipping through the water,” reads the description on the Hagadone Marine Group’s website.
The vessel is listed for $59,995 or best offer.
