LEGION BASEBALL: Northern Lakes improves to 3-1 in Missoula Mavericks Invitational

MISSOULA, Mont. — Griffin Tamagni went 4 for 4 with four RBIs for Northern Lakes in a 14-3 win over Tri-County in the Missoula Mavericks Invitational on Friday. 

Jace Taylor, Tadhg Ellwood and Cooper Lenz drove in two runs each for Northern Lakes (24-5). Eric Wylie also struck out six for the Mountaineers. 

Later, Northern Lakes improved to 3-1 in the tournament with an 8-2 win over the Bitterroot Red Sox.  

Jace Cooksey went 2 for 3 with two RBIs and Taylor, Jake Larcher and Ryker Brennan combined to allow two hits for Northern Lakes (25-5), which faces the Spokane Expos (Wilson) today at 12:45 p.m. PDT.
