Janea Bruner, 61

On April 13, after a three-year battle with cancer, Janea Bruner peacefully entered into the Kingdom of Heaven surrounded by her husband and children. Though our hearts are aching, we find solace knowing that she is no longer suffering and has been reunited with her father, brother and many others in paradise. 

To know Janea was to love her. Her friendship was a gift, and the light she brought into the room with her inspired many. You would never catch her sitting idle when there was work to do, meals to cook or love to give. She was the definition of a Proverbs 31 woman, always serving those around her. Janea was an incredible wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.

Our family will never be the same, but because of the life she lived and the foundation she built, we can all stand firm together, knowing that she would want us to continue living as she has. Fully, selflessly, walking hand-in-hand with God.
