LEGION BASEBALL: Northern Lakes keeps rolling at Missoula tourney

MISSOULA, Mont. — Eric Wylie capped an eight-run rally in the top of the second inning with a two-run inside-the-park home run for Northern Lakes, which beat the Spokane Expos (Wilson) 22-3 to improve to 3-1 in the Missoula Mavericks Invitational on Saturday. 

Jace Taylor went 2 for 3 with three RBIs and two runs scored for Northern Lakes (26-5), which concludes pool play today against the host Missoula Mavericks at 12:30 p.m. PDT. With a win over Missoula, Northern Lakes will advance to the championship game at 4 p.m.

Ethan Pecor had four hits and four runs scored and Jace Cooksey, Cooper Lenz and Jake Larcher also had two RBIs each in the win.
