NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING SAGLE VALLEY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT The Board of Directors (“Board”) of Sagle Valley Water and Sewer District (“District”) will hold a public hearing on July 22nd, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the University of Idaho Extension Office located at: 4205 N Boyer Ave, Sandpoint, ID 83864 The purpose of the public hearing is to approve the 2025/2026 budget; in accordance with Idaho Code § 63-1311A, to take public comments regarding a proposed new fee, increase or modification, in excess of five percent (5%) over the amount last collected. The following fees or charges of the District fall into this category: O&M Tier 1, henceforth named Monthly Base Fee, O&M Tier 2 henceforth named Fire Protection Fee, Excess Usage Fee, New User Capitalization Fee, Connection Fees (based on location of water main), and door hanger fee. The reason(s) for the proposed changes is to recover and/or recoup the district’s actual or reasonably necessary costs and expenses associated with providing such services, to simplify the fees and charges complying with applicable law, and to create a financial reserve to fund critical component replacement.
