Dana Klein, 72
Bonners Ferry Herald | UPDATED 9 months AGO
Dana Sue Klein, 72, peacefully went to heaven July 3, 2025, in Libby, Montana, with her family by her side.
Dana was born in Eads, Colorado, on July 29, 1952, to Frank and Margaret Klein. She came into the world with a special light and carried it boldly all her life. She had the ability to befriend anyone she crossed paths with and was loved well in the communities she lived in. Dana had a profound impact on her family, showing us unconditional love and an uncanny innocent wisdom that we will each remember in our own way. The words “It’s OK” and “I love you” frequently came out of her mouth. She will be missed dearly by all.
Dana is preceded in death by her father, Frank; mother, Margaret; and brother, Dalas. She is survived by sisters, Tamra Hanley (Brian) and Manon Hughes (Alvah); nieces, Tess Tessier (Mike), Chelsea Sanderson (Byron), Rebecca Nelson (Tony) and Michelle Owen; nephews, Alek Croucher, Andy Davidson (Hailey) and Austin Davidson (China); and great-nieces and nephews, Corey (Kiley), Nick, AuRaya, Olivia, Morgan, Shay, Xander, Mia, Hunter and Allisyn.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Libby Christion Church. Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg Funeral Home of Libby, Montana. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting schnackenbergfh.com.
The family kindly requests that, instead of sending flowers, donations be made to the Special Olympics of Montana.
