Grove moves up into tie for 10th at Rosauers

SPOKANE — Former North Idaho College men’s and women’s golf coach Russell Grove, now the men’s coach at Eastern Washington, shot 67 on Saturday and is tied for 10th at 7-under-par 135 after two rounds of the 38th Rosauers Open Invitational at Indian Canyon Golf Course. 

Shane Prante, from The Home Course in DuPont, Wash., shot 66 and leads by one stroke at 12-under 130. 

James Hall of Issaquah, Wash., shot 67 and is one back at 11-under 131. Darren Black of Topgolf-Seattle shot 68 and is in third at 10-under 132. 

Jess Wingett of The Highlands, the former Post Falls High golf coach, shot a 7-under 64 on Saturday and is tied for 27th at 4-under 138. 

The 54-hole tournament concludes today.
