Robert Guon, 89

Robert Guon, 89, passed away on July 9, 2025. Born in Fargo, North Dakota, in 1935, he and his family moved to Great Falls in 1946. He attended Great Falls High School, the University of Montana and the College of Great Falls.
He married Carol Larkin in 1956. Robert owned and managed several businesses, including the Park Hotel, a motel, bars and vending companies. He also served in the Montana Air National Guard.
He and Carol relocated to the Flathead Valley in 1982, where he worked as a travel agent and was a long-time volunteer for the Flathead Valley Sheriff’s Posse and Glacier National Park.
He is survived by his wife, Carol, four children, Bonnie (George) Nickol of Shelby; Mike (Sally) of Mckinney, Texas; Shelley (Jim) May of Libby; and Kevin (Jane) of Irvine, California. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
