Kyle Manzardo, the former Lake City High and Washington State star, hit a go-ahead two-run single in the fourth inning for Cleveland, which scored in the bottom of the eighth inning to beat the visiting Baltimore Orioles 3-2 on Wednesday.
Manzardo, now batting .221 (62 for 280) with 42 RBIs and 28 runs scored in 86 games.

Boise State track and field
Cogley, a rising junior from Lake City High, was named the Spring Mountain West Conference All-Academic team, the school announced. To be eligible, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and competed in 50 percent of the team's completed varsity contests. Some latitude was permitted to accommodate injured student-athletes.

Peters, a rising junior from Post Falls, was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic list after finishing with a 3.25 GPA or higher.
