The Tobacco River Ramblers are set to take the stage on July 30 at Snowline Acres in South Kalispell.

The six-piece rock ‘n’ roll band plays a pile of originals while peppering in a few iconic covers along the way.

The Ramblers are a supergroup collaboration of singer/songwriters Chris Evans (guitar, vocals), Guthrie Brown (guitar, vocals), Mike Murray (guitar, vocals), and Ross Bridgeman (keyboards, vocals); backed by the seasoned rhythm section of Chris Krager (bass, vocals) and Paul Merendino (drums). Known for their high energy and camaraderie on stage, long sets, and deep-dive improvisational jams, the Tobacco River Ramblers live show is unique every time and it is definitely one worth seeing.

The show begins at 5 p.m. in a natural amphitheater, so attendees should bring blankets and concert chairs. Tickets are $5. The concert also features food, beverage and artist vendors.

The Ramblers started out with a strong desire to create live music with the brothers they loved and to provide quality music that makes people want to move and groove has evolved into the band recording their first self-titled album.

The album brings together studio cuts recorded at Beargrass Studios, as well as live show recordings from Abayance Bay and Great Northern Bar in Whitefish and covers a wide range of rock and Americana styles. With inspiration from the anthemic riff style of The Black Keys, the straight-ahead rock of Tom Petty, the groove-heavy blues of J. J. Cale, and the rootsy jams of The Band, the album never lingers in one genre for too long, a testament to the band’s makeup as individual songwriters with their own unique styles.

The album was released on all major streaming platforms in July.
