The National Amateur Disc Golf Tournament (NADGT), presented by SickBirdie Disc Golf, Inc., was held July 12 at the Salish Kootenai College (SKC) Disc Golf Course in Pablo. The event drew 40 players from a 200-mile radius, including participants from Montana, Washington, Idaho, and Canada, and marked the first PDGA-sanctioned tournament at SKC.

Fifteen players across seven different divisions qualified for the NADGT Championship in Austin this October.

David Ach served as the tournament director, while other board members of the local nonprofit, SickBirdie Disc Golf, ensured the event was well-organized and ran smoothly.

The tournament was sponsored by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. Garden City Flyers sponsored the water stations, while FIYA Jamaican Jerk & BBQ Grill provided food.

Winners in various divisions are:

Female Amateurs: age 40 and older, Amy Finch; and age 60 and older, Ann Szalda-Petree

Mixed Amateurs (based on player ratings): MA1, Trent Halstad; MA2, Stephen Williams; and MA3, Devin Slater

Mixed Amateurs (based on age): 40 and older, Martin Charlo; 50 and older, Tucker Lamberton; and 60 and older, Allen Szalda-Petree
