Sherry Lynn Distefano, 56

Sherry Lynn Distefano, 56, of Pinehurst, Idaho, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully July 6, 2025, at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Sherry was born Feb. 7, 1969, in Bainbridge, Md., a daughter of Ron and Mary Gamet. 

Sherry was known for her warmth, strength, sense of humor, resilience and generosity. 

Survivors include her father, Ron Gamet; sister Debbie; Sherry’s husband, Eugene; her two children, Lori and Gillian; and her precious granddaughter, Aurora. 

A celebration of Sherry’s life will be held Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, at noon at Real Life Ministries in Pinehurst. All who knew and loved Sherry are welcome to attend and share memories. 

Though our hearts are heavy, we are comforted by the memories we hold and the legacy she leaves behind. Sherry will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
