Full caption: Jeru Gidley, a rising junior at Sandpoint High who competes for the Panhandle Gravity Squad, beat out 16 other competitors from across the country to win the North American Enduro Cup held June 21 and 22 at Silver Mountain Resort in Kellogg. Competing in the Junior 15-16 age division, Gidley posted a total combined time of 50 minutes, 18.4 seconds across all stages, nearly 50 seconds ahead of the runner-up. The standout cycler has also won all three of the Race Cascadia Dirt Cup Series expert enduros he's competed in so far this year — the Dry Hill Enduro (5/3/25) in Port Angeles, Wash., the Yacolt Burn Enduro (6/8/25) in Battle Ground, Wash., and the Galbraith Mountain Enduro (7/13/25) in Galbraith Mountain, Wash. As it stands at the moment, he's in a great position to win the overall season itself. Pictured is Gidley, standing atop the podium with his hands raised at last month's North American Enduro Cup.
