A woman reportedly found evidence of a campsite, in the form of trash, at a park where she wanted police to put a sign that camping wasn’t allowed. An officer told her they would stop by in the mornings to advise/ticket the camper about park rules. The woman took pictures and planned to also inform the Parks and Recreation Department.

A house cleaner allegedly found methamphetamine wrapped in a medical glove at a residence whose owner told them to call law enforcement if they “found anything odd” because there was an “open case involving this residence.”

Officers warned someone about feeding ducks in the park.

A red Ford Edge with a driver who seemed impaired reportedly stopped in the middle of an intersection, then ran a red light.

A woman, allegedly reported as missing, called officers and said she was fine and had lost her phone and with it, all contact information.

A man allegedly got in another man’s face and started yelling, trying to “pick a fight” outside the food bank building. Staff called security and he called the police, concerned about his safety.

Someone purportedly thought a man was dismantling a railroad crossing light and called the police, but hung up when dispatchers placed him on hold due to radio traffic. He was sitting in the shade and doing fine when officers arrived.

A man reportedly deposited a check for nearly $8,000 into his  account at a credit union, then withdrew the funds shortly after, the check returning as “fraudulent without proper authorization.” The man had allegedly done this in the past and employees thought he was running a scam.

A driver allegedly flashed a firearm at a passing vehicle.

Someone called the police and complained about a transient reportedly “set up under the overpass for weeks” and wanted him moved along. Officers didn’t see anyone at the site and planned to reach out to the Department of Transportation regarding the alleged trespassing.
