LEGION BASEBALL: Prairie takes another loser-out win

IDAHO FALLS — Timothy Howard and Bryce Berger had two RBIs each for the Prairie Cardinals in a 7-1 win over the Kuna Tribe in a loser-out game in the state “A” American Legion baseball tournament at the Tiger Athletic Complex on Saturday. 

Isaiah Kearney had two runs scored for Prairie (24-14-1), which faces the Idaho Falls Bees today.  With a win today, Prairie will advance to Monday’s championship round, and need to win twice to advance to the Regional tournament Aug. 7-11 in Burley.
