Mary Alice Combo Crowley Sept. 8, 1944 — July 10, 2025
Mary Alice Crowley, who resided in Kalispell, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Brendon House in Kalispell. She was 80 years old.
Mary Alice was born Sept. 8, 1944, in Butte, to James and Alice Combo. She married James Crowley on April 4, 1964, in Butte.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Alice Combo; husband, James Crowley and daughter Elizabeth. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Jerry and James and sisters, Claire, Shirley and Dee.
A rosary will be said at 10:15 a.m. (MST) on July 29, 2025, and Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Both will be held at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Kalispell and will be officiated by Father Stan. A reception will follow by the sisters of Isabella.
Mary Alice was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her family and always had a kind word for others. She was a devout Catholic and a longtime member of St. Matthew’s Parish. She enjoyed being a crossing guard, singing in the choir and volunteering.
She is survived by two sons, James Crowley and wife Peggy (of Alabama) and Jerry Crowley and wife Christina (of Kalispell); along with seven grandchildren: Joshua, Jessica, Samantha, Riley, Joseph, Andy Mae and Jacob; plus seven great grandchildren: Sophia, Leo, Amelia, Charlotte, Olivia, Elias and Adam.
Memorials in Mary Alice’s name are requested to be given to St. Matthew’s in lieu of flowers. Buffalo Hills Funeral Home & Crematorium is caring for the family.
