LEGION BASEBALL: Prairie falls in state title game, but advance to regionals next week

IDAHO FALLS — The Burley Green Sox limited the Prairie Cardinals to three hits to capture the state “A” American Legion championship on Tuesday at the Tiger Athletic Complex. 

Both Burley (36-5) and Prairie (25-15-1) advance to the Northwest Regional Tournament Aug. 7-11 at Burley High. Idaho received two bids this year as the host state for the tournament.
