Kevin Roy Henshall, 68, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025, in Seattle, Wash.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2025, at the Cocolalla Bible Church with Pastor Steve Brown officiating.
Kevin was born Feb. 12, 1957, in San Jose, Calif., to Roy and Ethel Henshall. He grew up and attended schools in San Jose; after graduation, he attended technical school. He later taught at that school.
He purchased his first appliance repair business in Dublin, Calif. — United Appliance, now UKH.
Kevin moved to Sandpoint in 2012 and opened Northwood’s Appliance. He married Elizabeth Richardson on July 25, 2015, in Tracy, Calif.
Kevin was a pilot and enjoyed flying the Cessna 172. He also enjoyed dirt bikes, music, comedy, astronomy, boating, his dogs and spending time with his granddaughters.
He is survived by his wife, Liz Richardson of Sandpoint; three children, Melissa (Carlos) Jaimes of Canyon County, California, Ronny (Victoria) Richardson of Clark Fork, Idaho, and Georgette (Matthew) Hain of Sandpoint; and seven grandchildren, Joseph, Lilianna, Georgia, Katherine, Clare, Mary-Ellen, and Marleen.
