Local team places second at IEPGA Pro-Junior tournament

Full caption: From left, junior players Brayden Lang, Van Quesnel and Sam Webb, along with pro player Jeff Gove, finished second out of 18 teams in the scramble division at the Inland Empire PGA Les Schwab Pro-Junior tournament held Monday at the Wandermere Golf Course, located just north of Spokane. Representing The Idaho Club, the four combined to shoot a baseline net 9-under-par 131. They received $265 of a $1,100 total purse for their efforts. Additionally, Gove competed in the professional division of the individual gross, finishing third out of 27 competitors with a 5-under-par 65. He also won the professional division of gross skins with birdies on both the third and 18th holes.
