Bigfork Senior Center

Hot lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Recommended donation for meals is $4 for seniors age 60 and over, $6 for non-seniors. 

Community meal

A free community meal is at Bethany Lutheran Church every Wednesday. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. The church is at 8559 Montana 35.

Monday Market

The Bigfork Monday Market with fresh food, artists, food trucks and live music from 5-8 p.m. at 191 Mill Street.

Ferndale market

Ferndale Farmer’s Market at Skald Coffee is from noon to 5 p.m. at 12090 Highway 83. Food, vendors and live music.

Riverbend Concert Series

Riverbend Concert Series will be held at Sliter’s park on Sundays throughout the summer and will begin at 7 p.m. Tom Catmull performs Aug. 3. Admission is $5 per person and under 13 are free. Season passes may be purchased at the concerts.

BLUAC meets

The Bigfork Land Use Advisory Committee will meet on Thursday, July 31, at 4 p.m., downstairs at Bethany Lutheran Church, 8559 Highway 35, Bigfork, MT.  BLUAC will continue to work on the Bigfork Neighborhood Plan update.

Bigfork Festival of Arts

The Bigfork Festival of the Arts will be Aug. 2-3 from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in downtown Bigfork. Art, crafts, food, music and other entertainment.  Parking and shuttle will be at the Bigfork Rodeo Grounds with a free shuttle running 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.  Limited parking is available at the Bigfork School parking lot. There will be limited handicap parking at the UPS Store on Grand Avenue, decal is required.

Board of Adjustment

The Flathead County Board of Adjustment meets Aug. 5 at 6 p.m. at 40 11th St. W. in Kalispell.

Sportsman's Bridge open house

The Montana Department of Transportation and Sletten Construction will soon begin work to replace Sportsman’s Bridge, spanning the Flathead River on Montana 82. An open house is planned Tuesday, Aug. 5, 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Bigfork High School Community Room, 600 Commerce St.

Heart of Bigfork

An Evening for the Heart of Bigfork is Aug. 6 at 5 p.m. at Lake Baked / River View Bar, 191 Mill St. in Bigfork. The event is in support of the Community Foundation for a Better Bigfork.

Community potluck

A potluck and presentation on "Lessons from the River: Wildlife, Water, and Working with Nature" is Aug. 6 at 5:30 p.m. at Swan Valley Community Hall on Montana 83 in Condon.

Bio station open house

The Flathead Lake Bio Station Open House is Aug. 8 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.  The event is free and open to all. 32125 Bio Station Lane.

Planning board

The Flathead County Planning Board meets Aug. 13 at 6 p.m. at 40 11th Street West, Suite 200, Kalispell.

Bigfork Water and Sewer

Bigfork Water and Sewer monthly board meeting will be held at 600 Commerce Community Room at Bigfork High School on Aug. 13 at 6 p.m.

Lakeside Water and Sewer

Lakeside County Water Sewer District board meets Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 2 p.m. at 253 Bierney Creek Road. Meetings are open to the public. 

Bigfork School board meets

The Bigfork School Board meets Wednesday, Aug. 20 at 5 p.m. at the Bigfork High School Library.

Fire District election

Bigfork Rural Fire District special bond and levy election is Sept. 9.
