West, a rising junior from Coeur d’Alene High, was named a Cobalt Golf Scholar All-American. To be eligible, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team’s competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 78 and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. It was his first year being eligible, holding a 3.71 GPA while studying business administration. West shot a 76.5 as a sophomore.
