Addison Leroy Bain, 89, passed away in Melbourne, Florida, on Jan. 22, 2025.

It was determined that another scientist was needed in the universe to study the galaxy and stars. You could determine that if you saw his room with various rockets and pictures from the Hubble telescope.  

He was born in Kalispell on Sept. 23, 1935, the first child of Arthur and Dorothy Bain. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon. 

He is survived by daughter, Debra Lindsay, and grandson, Justin, granddaughter, Tiffany of Prineville, Oregon, brothers, Stanley Bain of Melbourne, Florida and Daryl Bain of Kalispell, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on June 8 at the Elks Lodge, 139 First Ave. W., Kalispell. Beginning at 11:30 a.m. until approximately 3 p.m. With a catered lunch followed by his life interests and achievements. 

Addison's request was to be cremated and buried near family at Glacier Memorial Gardens in Kalispell.
