Tyler commits to North Idaho College

Sandpoint's Jorden Tyler recently committed to continue his wrestling career at North Idaho College (NJCAA Division I) in Coeur d'Alene. Tyler posted 151 wins, the most in the school history, over his four-year varsity career. He was a four-time Inland Empire League District 1-2 Champion and held a 45-4 record during his senior year. Tyler posted 151 wins, the most in the school history, over his four-year varsity career. He was a four-time Inland Empire League District 1-2 Champion and held a 45-4 record during his senior year. During his junior season, he won two tournaments and posted a second-place finish at the 4A (now 5A) State Championship at 195 pounds. He was third at 195 pounds at the 4A State Championship his sophomore season. Tyler is among one of the strongest NJCAA recruiting classes in the nation as the Cardinals, which have won 14 NJCAA national titles over the years, are looking to bounce back after an eighth-place finish at nationals this past season.
