COEUR d’ALENE — A man received a prison sentence for dealing methamphetamine, according to the Kootenai County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
Aaron C. Jewett, 47, pleaded guilty in April to delivery and possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
First District Judge Lamont Berecz sentenced Jewett to 12 years in prison with parole eligibility after two and a half years.
Prosecutors said police used a confidential informant to purchase methamphetamine from Jewett between January and March of this year, then obtained a search warrant for Jewett’s residence.
The search yielded methamphetamine and paraphernalia, according to prosecutors.
