Courtesy photo Senior quarterback Isaac McKeown is this week's Post Falls High School Athlete of the Week. McKeown was 25 of 39 with 280 yards passing with five passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown with no interceptions in a 47-42 loss at Glacier Peak last Saturday.

McKeown, a senior, won the state 6A championship in the javelin with a throw of 169 feet, 6 inches on May 16 at Mountain View High in Meridian. McKeown hit the winning mark on the third of his six attempts. “He’s made a really huge jump in the last three meets from 145 feet to the 160s consistently,” Post Falls coach Wade Quesnell said. “He’s just constantly gotten better this year. It’s a really big deal for him to do this.”
