Code Girls United offers hands-on summer camps

Code Girls United is excited to announce its lineup of summer camps across Montana, featuring engaging programs in general coding and advanced cyber security. Designed for students in grades 4-12, these camps provide a fun, hands-on introduction to computer science and STEM concepts.  

This summer, Code Girls United will offer general coding camps for girls in grades 4-8, and advanced Cyber Security camps in partnership with Cybercat Hacking Academy for students in grades 7-12. Camp locations include Kalispell, Ronan, Billings and Browning. 

In Kalispell, Code Girls United will be partnered with ‘Girls on the Run’ for full day programming that combines physical activity with an introduction to coding concepts. These camps are a fantastic way for students to explore coding in a supportive and engaging environment.  

Cybercat Hacking Academy offers a hands-on journey into electronics, programming, networking and cybersecurity. Partnering with Code Girls, camps will be held in Browning and Billings. Students will assemble and program cat-themed microcontrollers, learn about Wi-Fi security and best practices, experiment with Python scripting, and work on networking discovery techniques. This program is a great opportunity for students interested in taking their computer science skills to the next level.
