Robert 'Bob' Babb, 85

Robert “Bob” Babb, 85, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away peacefully April 6, 2025. Born in Palouse, Wash., on May 18, 1939, to Roscoe and Wilma Babb, Bob lived a full life of determination, humor and love for his family.
For most of his life, Bob was a long-haul truck driver who traveled over a million miles and to 49 of the 50 states, making many friends along the way. He met his wife, Sharon, at Yellowstone Trucking in Coeur d’Alene and they remained happily married for 46 years. When they weren’t together on the road, they could be found boating on the lake, riding on their motorcycle, or attending any of the Phuddy Duddy Car Club events in his 1950 Ford.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father; his sisters, Barbara and Ellen, and his wife, Sharon, who recently passed away Aug. 12, 2024.
He is survived by his sister, Joy; by his children: Mark, Alan, Jodi and Paul; his step-daughter, Susan, step-sons Patrick and Gerald; his grandchildren: Brandon, Zachary, Madilyn, Nathan, Matthias, Caleb, Jacob, Joel, Tami, Ian, Trice and Andrew; his step-grandchildren: Sarah, Michael, Kevin, Jennifer, Gaby, Jess and Mckenna; his great-grandchildren: Silas, Scarlett and Maisy; and his step-great-grandchildren: Aria, Paxton and Briar.
He is greatly missed and loved by these and many others and will forever be remembered.
Family will gather privately at a later date. Interment will be at St. Thomas Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
