Eric Adam Stowell, 25

Eric, a beloved brother and cousin, peacefully passed away May 25, 2025, after bravely facing the challenges of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Eric faced the many challenges of the disease and life's battles with his brother, Vernon, who was always by his side. 

Eric loved to play video games, play with his RC cars and play with his array of Matchbox cars that he had collected throughout his life. 

Eric is survived by his brother, Vernon; sister Richelle; mother Sarah; and cousin Chrissy.

Per his wishes, a celebration of life will be held at the Yates Funeral Home — Hayden Chapel (373 E. Hayden Ave., Hayden, ID 83835) at 3 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2025. Eric's life was immeasurably enriched by the countless friends and devoted caretakers who brought support, comfort and joy to his life. His brother, Vernon, and cousin Chrissy invite those who wish to celebrate an amazing soul to attend. Eric's gentle spirit and unwavering determination will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, resilience and a reminder to embrace life's joys, no matter the obstacles.
