COEUR d’ALENE — Gizmo-CDA is offering summer camp options to keep young people entertained and spark their imaginations.

Coding, 3D printing, robotics, engineering and designing are some of the skills kids can explore through Gizmo’s camps, all in collaborative groups on the North Idaho College campus. 

The following camps have space available: 

• From Circuits to Sundaes, July 21 – 25: What’s cooler than ice cream? Building the machine that serves it! Combine coding and creativity to automate your own sundae system. Ages 12 and up. 

• From Idea to Reality, July 28 – Aug. 1: Design, test, and build across every corner of the makerspace. Whether it’s tech or art, your ideas take center stage. You’ll explore 3D printing, coding, laser cutting, and more — hands-on every day! Ages 12 and up. 

• A STEMtastic Summer, Aug. 4 – 8: Dive into the hands-on worlds of science, technology, engineering and math through exciting challenges and creative projects. Each day is packed with discovery and invention. Ages 9 through 12. 

Each weeklong camp costs $275 to attend. Families who register for the “Circuits to Sundaes” or “Idea to Reality” camps will receive a 50% discount for a second camp registration. 

Scholarships are available. Gizmo is sponsoring up to $3,000 in programming for local students who otherwise couldn’t afford to participate.
