PHOTOS: Touch a Truck fundraiser for Whitefish 9/11 Memorial

The Whitefish Firefighters Association held a Touch a Truck fundraiser event to raise money for the Whitefish 9/11 Memorial at Black Rifle Coffee Company in Kalispell on Saturday, June 14. Kids got a chance to interact with emergency vehicles from Whitefish Fire Department and Kalispell Police Department and one of three pieces of steel from the World Trade Center acquired by the Whitefish Fire Department was on display. Funds raised go toward building a 9/11 memorial and community landmark in Whitefish that would feature authentic artifacts from the World Trade Center.
