Robert "Bob" Froman passed away at his home in Coeur d'Alene on April 29, 2025. He was born April 17, 1939, in Moscow, Idaho, to Opal and George Froman. Bob moved with his family to Moses Lake, Wash., when he was 14, and graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1957. He moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1969, where he worked for various automobile dealerships and retired from Knudsen Chevrolet.
He loved telling jokes and funny stories, some of which were handed down from his dad. He also enjoyed traveling to warm places in the winter, long road trips during the warmer months, boating and golfing with friends (mostly the "with friends" part).
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Jeannine, and his sister, Joan Harmon. He is survived by his wife, Monica Fox; his stepdaughter, Corinne Fox (Eddie Rodrigues); his son, Tom Froman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 28, at 1 p.m. at the Lake City Senior Center, 1916 N. Lakewood Drive.
