MARYSVILLE, Calif. — After dropping the first four games of the series, the Glacier Range Riders’ Xavier Caserilla played hero the final two games of the series, winning Sunday’s knockout round over Yuba-Sutter High Wheelers’ Cuba Bess for a 11-10 victory in Pioneer League baseball.
Caserilla went 4-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI in Saturday’s 8-3 win that helped snap a five-game skid.
