ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Brennan Shaw, Sandpoint Baseball

This week's Athlete of the Week is Brennan Shaw of Sandpoint baseball.

After a solid spring season at the varsity level, Brennan, a rising junior, continues to excel on the diamond. The right-handed first baseman and outfielder went a combined 7-for-13 with two doubles, four RBI, four stolen bases and three runs scored during the Sasquatch travel baseball team's recent four-game series against the Owyhee Wave. On the summer, he holds a team-best .480 batting average and a .552 on-base percentage across 31 plate appearances.
