COEUR d'ALENE — The Best Western Plus Coeur d'Alene Inn has received Best Western Hotels and Resorts’ Chairman’s Award, "a prestigious honor recognizing hotels with exceptional quality assurance standards."
Steve Wahrlich, chairman of the Board Best Western International, said hotels are scored with the most demanding Quality Assurance program in the industry.
"Your commitment to excellence provides the standard by which the rest of Best Western is measured," he wrote.
J.J. Jaeger, president of The Best Western Plus Coeur d'Alene Inn, said he and his team were grateful for the award.
"From our fantastic owners, Brad and Todd Hagadone, to our outstanding team of hospitality professionals and I couldn't be more excited for all of them to receive this recognition," he said.
The Chairman’s Award recognizes the Best Western-branded hotels that score in the top 20% of more than 2,200 North American properties, with respect to cleanliness and maintenance inspection scores, the press release said.
Hotels must also meet Best Western’s requirements for design and high customer service scores to qualify for the award.
"I hope you take pride in your accomplishment and display it so that others will know the esteem in which you are held by your fellow hoteliers," Wahrlich wrote.
Located at 506 W. Appleway Ave., the Best Western Plus Coeur d'Alene Inn features 122 rooms and is home to the highly rated Mulligan's Bar and Grille, in addition to many other guest amenities.
